/ /= Telapathic communication ~ ~= said in a sing-song voice. * *= Growled /Remember, that Rikura wanted to tell her friends about the shop; it's very probable they'll be back. If you create something for them, it'll ensure us a safe start. Of course, you have the last word about what to do and what to sell... What is your decision, master? / "Rikura's friends?" Miro shook his head. "We'll go back. It's a sure thing her friends will buy things from here, and you will survive, while traveling to the other world would be risky at best." /As you wish, Master/ **************************************************** ONE OF THOSE SHOPS A branched ImproFanfic started by Farsan de Arnibia. This branch continued by the Collective known as Tech Tecno. (B) Chapter 2: First Transaction **************************************************** Rikura frowned. "But I'm sure it was here!!" Rikura yelled as she searched the now blank brick wall, behind her stood two others. The first was a young man named Theodore O’Donnell, about 55'11" and 22 years old, with blond hair and green eyes. He was wearing tan slacks and a white T-shirt, over which was a tan trenchcoat with a smiley face button. The second was a young woman named Kimihiko Tenma, about 4'8" high, with blue hair and brown eyes. She was dressed in slacks and a pink blouse. Theodore sighed and calmly pointed at the shop on the opposite side of the street, which had a 'Grand Opening' sign in the window. "Could it be that you are looking on the wrong side of the street?" He folded his arms across his chest. "Are you sure your last name isn't Hibiki? Rikura spun around and looked at the store front Theodore was pointing at and blushed. "Ted-San!! I'm not that bad." Theodore grinned. "What about the time you were three hours late to the game shop?" "That wasn't her fault. Professor O’Donnell kept her after class." Kimihiko said, sticking up for Rikura. Theodore blinked “Dad did that? Anything about the High Density Particle Beam he put in to orbit?" Rikura and Kimihiko looked at Theodore with puzzled expressions "Huh?" He sweatdroped. "Err. Never mind. Rikura, how about you show us that amazing vending machine you were telling us about?" Kimihiko broke out into a smile. "Yeah!! You said they had ent water!" Rikura smiled herself. "Sure!" She quickly walked past the other two and into the shop. Theodore watched her go, then bowed toward Kimihiko. Kimihiko smiled and walked into the shop. A moment later Theodore followed. **************************************************** Miro looked up at the entrance as the bell over the door rang. "Rikura, your back." He said with a smile as she and the other two enter. "Kimihiko, Theodore, good to see you again. And welcome to my shop, I guess." The other three looked at Miro unbelievingly. "Your shop?" “Err... Yeah. My shop..." Miro rubbed the back of his head. "When I and Rikura first entered the shop, it was starving, and desperate. In order to survive, it bonded with me." Kimihiko got a starry eyed look. "Wow Miro-kun!" Rikura frowned. "Bonded with you?" Theodore looked thoughtful, shrugged, and went over to study the vending machine. After a few moments, he pulled out a wallet and started feeding thousand Yen bills into it. Miro himself shrugged. "Yeah. I'm bonded to a magical shop that sells magical items." "Your kidding... How could something lake that happen to you!" Rikura glared at Miro. Kimihiko glared at Rikura. "Rikura, you bought a Lenma from this shop. You showed it to me! That proves magic exist and magic makes anything possible.” She quickly strode over, glomped onto Miro's arm and smiled up at his face. "Besides, how could you doubt someone as handsome as MY Miro-kun?" Rikura and Miro sweatdroped. Theodore just snickered as he fed the last thousand Yen bill into the machine and selected his pursues. "Kimihiko has earned a point. Current weeks total: 3 Rikura, 1 Miro, 4 Kimihiko, and 2 for me." He said as he reached down to pull out a small Book out of slot. Miro looked toward Theodore. "What did you buy Theodore?" /a Book. Onification: Unleashing your Electrifying Potential with Magic/ "Onification: Unlocking your Electrifying Potential with Magic." Theodore stood up and opened the book. "I always wanted to be able to do magic. Hee hee hee... Tur~Natlikri-Yagirri~, sluachrin." Miro and the other two sweatdroped as Theodore started to chant and small specks of light begain to appear around him. "Ted... I don't think that is a good idea..." "Kisha bulin *thirks*." Rikura watched in amazement as magic intensified around Theodore. Sure, the Lenma was magical, but this was in a totally different liege. /I'm sorry... He wanted some magical potential and I was hungry./ "Tur~Purlish~ ku~pasentr~" Kimihiko ducked behind Miro as a small thundercloud started to form above Theodore. "DO something Miro-kun!" she yelled. "I don't know what to do!" he said with panic in his voice. /I'm sorry master; It's out of my control now!! The magic must be finished!!/ Theodore raised his hand to the heavens. "~sirfin~ hopra, *Tur* ONI!" As he finished the spell, he realized what exactly he had cast. "Oni? Oh $$$$!!" Then the bolts Of lightning struck down at him from the cloud and filled his form with power... As the flash died down, Theodore was reveled. And he was changed. His trenchcoat clung to him like a second skin, his hair standing straight out with occasional blue arcs of electricity passing between the individual strands, and two Striped Horns had appeared his forehead. “Owwiee...” he whispered, and then passed out. OOC: Wow. Much better on the second pass. #1: A bit on the spell. It is in Elfish(well, one form of Elfish), so I'll translate the spell into English. "Light of the heavens, of Space/Time I call thy power to bestow upon me your gifts. Use the plasma of sky to enhance my form Change my form to that of the electric ONI!" As for the effects, it turns the caster into an Oni. For the type and duration, that is up to Chameleon, the next author. But I have envisioned him as a UY type Oni, and hope she takes the suggestion. #2: The point system. Yep, a little fun mini thingy! Increase the points your favorite character has!! Add to their point total in your part. Currently, the only way known for them to earn points is to win an argument. But there are more ways fro them to win points... and lose them. Add a rule! #3: The Vending Machine. My Pre-reader brought this up. Book from a vending machine? Yes, it’s true!! You can buy almost anything from them in Japan!!
