"Who-- who's that?" /Competition.../ Miro watched as the Chinese man watched him from just beyond the entrance to the shop. ""That was a dirty tri'k you pulled yongin, you relay shouldn't have done that, but I'm not about to enter you domain for revenge." The man smirked, and then proceeded to let out a Manic Laugh #3. "Oh... but I have no need. I can tell you're an innocent. You don't realize what you've done yet, but you will when business picks up. Then you will." With that the man let out another Manic laugh #3 and walked back across the street to his shop. Miro shuddered. "What did he mean by that Poichi?" /That things are about to get Very nasty around here. Wu Pon... I had hoped to never meet you again. / **************************************************** ONE OF THOSE SHOPS A Branched ImproFanfic started by Farsan de Arnibia. This part continued by Tech Tecno Chapter 6B: Super Villains **************************************************** Tokyo University was one of the most famous and well known universities in all of Japan. But it also held many secrets upon its ground, and one of the least known secrets was the underground complex deep below it. A complex built by the sheer determination of one man, who sought revenge against the governments of the world, whose pointless wars had killed his wife, and so many innocents. His name was Prunince O'Donnell, better known as the professor, and he had just gotten the last piece he needed to initiate his plans of world conquest. "I have acquired the Jade Buddha of Master Wu, professor. I am on my way back now." Professor O'Donnell nodded and put the phone back on it hook. With a smile, he swiveled in his chair and looked over the many light consoles. The large world map showed the many orbits of his satellites and his dozens of student volunteers. "Attention!" He yelled, and waited for Everyone's attention to have settled upon him. "We have acquired the last component of our device. We shall soon have the Jade Statue of Master Wu in position, and all the power we will ever need for our plans. It is time to begin final preparations. All Cys users shall report to their assigned locations and prepare to secure Tokyo for Tactical Defense. Satellite Crew is to begin warm-up preparations." All through the compound the cry of "HAI, PROFFESSER!" was heard. Professor O'Donnell grinned as he picked up a framed photograph and sighed as he ran a finger over the blond haired woman in the photograph. "Soon, my dear, soon. ----- Kimihiko smiled as she entered the store. Her eyes quickly scanned over the shelves of merchandise, the dozen gamers sitting at the back table looking at a TV hung on the wall, and the average looking young man sitting behind the register watching a mini-TV. "Hi Ichiro!" She said, and then strolled over to the counter as Theodore held the door open for Rikaru. "What are you watching?" Ichiro looked up from the TV. "Something strange, Kimihiko. Rikaru, Theodore. Good to see you." He turned the Mini TV around and looked directly toward Theodore. "Your Father is making an announcement. Somehow, he's taken over EVERY station." Theodore paled. "Please say you're kidding." Rikaru looked the Mini-TV. "No, he's not. Your father is on TV." ----- "Good day, citizens of the world." Professor O'Donnell said from behind his desk. His hand crossed on the desk in front of him, and his eyes focused upon the camera. "My name is Professor O'Donnell and I am soon too be your ruler. To long have the corrupt governments of the world existed. Their rulers, be they politicians or dictators, have become corrupt, waging war against each other for their petty reasons. Growing wealthy off the suffering of their citizens. And killing innocents to hide their dirty secrets." He frowned. "That is why I plan to unite them all under my rule. And no one on earth has the power to stop me... With the Cys to provide close in defense, and the Partial Beam Platforms I have in orbit to provide the long range stopping power. You have no chance of resisting." He grinned, and gestured to the screen behind him as the picture panned toward it. On it sat the majestic image of Mt. Fuji. "For those of you who don't believe my power, this is a real time image Mt Fuji, the location I have chosen to demonstrate my power. SATILLITE CONTROL! FIRE!" ----- Mt Fuji, a majestic mountain of untold grace. An icon of Japan... and in less then a second, it was destroyed by a pencil thin beam of blue light. Melted to a misshapen lump of rock, it exploded and chunks of it were scattered for thousands of miles around. Destruction wreaked on a scale that had been known but a few times before in human history. A million dead, and even more homeless. ----- "As you can see, you will surrender, or die. You have one day." Professor O'Donnell nodded, and then cut the signal, the TV returning to the normal programming. ----- The shop was silent for several Seconds, and the shock of the events pass through them. But finally, it was broken, by the calm whisper of Theodore. "Dad's lost it... He's gone to far." He growled and raised a clenched fist. "I must stop him," then he frowned. Kimihiko looked toward Theodore. "How are you planning to do that?" she asked, shuddering slightly in reaction to the events. Theodore looked toward Kimihiko, then grinned and held up his spellbook. "Hey, I have magic on my side." Kimihiko smiled and relaxed slightly. "Yeah... Magic... Hey! We could help you! We can stop by Miro-kun's shop and arm ourselves!" She turned to Rikaru. "You hear that Rikaru? We can do something! Rikaru?" she waved in hand in front of Rikaru's face. "Hey, snap out of it." Rikaru blinked then looked at Kimihiko with a bedazzled look. "Kimihiko. I just had a dream that Proff-" "It wasn't a dream Rikaru." Theodore sighed and shook his head. "My dad is making a bid for world conquest." "Oh." Rikaru looked down, a little stunned. "It wasn't a dream." "Cheer up! Were going to stop him!!" Kimihiko chirped. "How?" Rikaru said. "Miro-kun's shop. Were going to go get some magical weapons, and lay the smackdown on him." Kimihiko swiveled away from Rikaru to face Ichiro. "Hey, you in Ichiro?" Ichiro smiled and shook his head as he finished locking the register. "Sorry, I can't. I have to go help get everyone into the shelters, and my family... But if you give me its address, I'll try and get there as soon as I can." Kimihiko and the other two nodded. "I understand." She then turns toward the group of gamers in the back of the room as Theodore wrote the address on the back of one of the shop's business card. "Hey, any of you want to fight back? Were going to go get some magical weapons, so come along if you want to!" Rikaru slowly started to smile. "Yhea... we'll fight back." She then started to walk, then run toward the door. Theodore frowned, and started to run after her. "Hey, wait up!" He yelled as he followed her out the door, only to run into her as she suddenly stopped just a few feet beyond the door. "Whoa. What's the problem?" he asked. Rikaru smiled. "Just a little surprised. It's your brother." She said as she pointed down the street. Theodore looks at where she was pointing and smiled. Indeed, it was his younger brother. "Korin! Good, your here! Want to come with us and stop father?" He asked... then suddenly grabbed Rikaru and dived to the left, berly dodging the blast of energy aimed at where they had stood. As the dust cleared, he saw an 18 year old blond girl holding a mechanical looking bow step out of the shadows of a nearby alley and proceeds to stand next to Korin. Korin just smiled, and continued to walk toward Theodore and Rikaru, even as Kimihiko and a few other gamers exited the shop. "Sorry, Onichan, but I'm on father's side." Theodore slowly stood up, and then helped Rikaru up. "You okay?" He asked, and then when she nodded, turned to face Korin. "Why are you on his side? He's clearly insane, he must be stopped..." Korin flicked back the cape he was wearing, revealing a strange mechanical shoulder pad on his right shoulder. "Since you seek to oppose him, I must stop you. Don't worry, this won't hurt much." With a click and a low thrum, a giant fist manifested next to him, attached to the shoulder pad by multiple metal rods. Calmly, he flexed it by flexing his own hand. With an evil grin, he looked back toward Theodore. "You should be honored I chose you to field test my Cys on Onichan." Theodore glared at Korin then he calmly pulled his wallet out of his coat and handed it to Rikaru. "My bank card's PIN is 6256. Use it to buy the weapons." He said, and then shoved her toward Kimihiko. "Kimihiko. Everyone... GO! Get out of here!" He yelled without his Eyes leaving his brother. Then he started to mumble the chant he had memorized in the book. Rikaru stumbled as Theodore shoved her away, and started to turn to face him. "Theodore, you're not..." she begin to say, but Kimihiko grabbed her shoulder pulled her away. "He said go Rikaru. We go." With out even bothering to respond, Kimihiko proceeded to drag Rikaru away. The others followed. Korin smiled as his eyes watched the others go. "So you want to play the hero, Onichan?" with a smile, he waved toward the young girl with the mechanical bow. "Unara, follow them, but don't engage till I call." The Girl nodded and broke out into a dash, quickly running past Theodore and after the others. "Well, whenever you're ready Onichan." He said as he tilted head, watching the small storm swirl around his brother. Theodore just smirked as he finished the chant. "ONIFICATION!" He yelled, and braced himself to the Bolt of Lighting. Embracing the power when it struck. In an instant, he transformed, his coat clinging to him due to extreme static cling, and the two small horns appearing on his forehead "you want to call me Oni-chan? I'll give you a reason to call me Oni-chan! Ber' kar shin RETRIBUTION!" With that, he threw an arm toward Korin and flung a bolt of lightning... Korin drew in a gasp of air, then turned and brought his hand up across his chest, the giant fist moving identical to his arm, with a wave, he made the giant fist swat it out of the air, hardly grimacing from the mild electric shock the action inflicted upon him. "So you learned a few new tricks. Good, this should be a challenge. GROUNDWAVE!!" With that yell, he slammed the giant fist into the ground, sending a shockwave toward Theodore, and then took of running after it, intending to engage him in close combat. "HAVE AT THEE!" ------- NOTES: and... I'm done. I completed all my goals, and hopeful I fixed the problem's I inflicted upon this improfic with my previous part. I admit it, my last part was... bland. I wasn't expecting to be the second in the line up, and had no Idea what to write for the part. I started the entire line on a slow note... and the parts since then have been... less then they could have as a result. So I wrote this part introducing two Super villains in the process, effectively shifting the story from first to Overdrive in a single go. This will either make up for my past mistake and make the future parts better or kill the story completely. Hopefully the former. Any way, I'll give a little Synopsis of the characters I introduced here. Wu Pon: the owner of "The Mysticism and Power of Ancient China". He seeks to maximize his profits by causing Massive wars, then making them worse by selling Mystic and Technological weapons to both sides. Then once both sides destroy each other, moving on to the next universe. Essentially, he's a mystic Arms Dealer. The second is Theodore's Dad, Professor O'Donnell. He is good at heart, just without morals and slightly insane. He is just doing what he thinks is right. Korin is Theodore's younger brother, and is truly evil, fighting just because he likes to hurt others. He Wields the Cys 'Fist' and hates his bigger Brother. His partner is Unaru, welder of the Cys 'Bow'. Not much is known about her. I also threw in a few unnamed gamers. The next author can expand on them.
