No one really knows how he got here, or what he does. He just is." >TAP WALLS You tap on the solid stone walls of the cell. It sounds solid. Rojanosh watches you. >TEST BARS You grab the bars of the cell, and immediately feel an electric sensation course through you. You yelp and let go immediately. You feel a little dizzy. >SAVE [Game saved.] >CHEAT I'm sorry, that feature isn't implemented yet. >WAIT Time passes. >WAIT Time passes. --------------------------------------- A guard passes by. >TALK TO GUARD The guard ignores you. >LOOK AT GUARD The guard appears to be of avian origin, with one roud eye coldly staring at you. You surmise the other is on the other side of the beak, watching the other cells lining the opposite wall. He is wearing a belt with several flasks, and a dagger. On his wrist is a thick gold bracelet. >REACH FOR GUARD The electric shock coursing through your arm painfully reminds you of the magical barrier netween the two of you. Rojanosh says, "Didn't you learn the last time?" and chuckles as you rub life back into your arm. The guard has left. >HINT I think you need to escape before anything else. >LOOK UNDER BENCH You get down on your knees and look underneath the bench. There is a small piece of chalk here. >TAKE CHALK Taken. >EXAMINE CHALK The piece of chalk feels rather heavy in your hand. It's about two inches long. You can see a faint green glow around the chalk. >ASK ROJANOSH TO LOOK AT CHALK Rojanosh takes the piece of chalk and holds it up to the faint light illuminating the cell. He blinks a couple of times, and then hands the piece back to you. "I don't see anything odd about it," he says. You feel an odd tingle on your chest. >LOOK AT PENDANT The silver pendant around you rneck is glowing with a slight greenish cast. >DRAW What do you want to draw? >DRAW PENDANT FIGURE Where do you want to draw? >DRAW PENDANT FIGURE ON WALL You scrape out a rough figure of three circles and an line. Rojanosh looks at the figure. "What is that?" he asks. >WAIT Time passes. >WAIT The figure on the wall begins to glow with a green light. The wall shudders briefly. The pendant tingles some more. >PUSH WALL The wall feels weak under your touch, and suddenly you find yourself buried underneath the remains of the destabilized wall. *** You have died. *** Quit, Restore, or Undo? UNDO >STAY AWAY FROM WALL You place yourself as far away as possible from the wall. >ROJANOSH, GET AWAY FROM THE WALL Rojanosh joins you, looking on in wonder as the rune you wrote glows. >WAIT The wall shudders some more, and the portion where the rune was written collapses in rubble and a cloud of dust. Behind you, shouts can be heard. >OUT You scramble out the hole in the wall, closely followed by Rojanosh. [You have gained 1 point!] Prison Hallway You stand in the prison's hallway. Exits lead south and north. There is a table here. >SAVE [Game saved] >SHOVE TABLE AGAINST NORTH DOOR. It's too heavy for you to move. >ROJANOSH, HELP ME. What do you want Rojanosh to do? >ROJANOSH, HELP ME PUSH TABLE AGAINST SOUTH DOOR. Rojanosh leans against the oak table, and the two of you manage t to push the table against the southern doorway. Shouts can be heard getting closer. >N Mess Hall This is a long room dominated by a large table, preumably for seating the prisoners and guards on their shifts to eat. Wooden plates are located on the table, with no utensils in sight, presumably to prevent prisoners killing each other. Doorways lead south, east, and west. Shouts can be heard. Rojanosh arrives from the south. >W Courtyard You enter a large walled courtyard. Guard towers rise ominously on each corner and the midpoints of each wall. A couple of scrawny trees provide scant cover. Doorways lead east, west and south. A large oaken door is north. Shouts erupt from the walls and the towers. >RUN SOUTH You attempt to escape but several arrows from several directions end that idea. *** You have died. *** Quit, Restore, or Undo? RESTORE Prison Hallway You stand in the prison's hallway. Exits lead south and north. There is a table here. >LOOK TABLE It's your standard hallway table, with one drawer. >ROJANOSH, HELP ME PUSH TABLE AGAINST SOUTH DOOR. Rojanosh leans against the oak table, and the two of you manage to push the table against the southern doorway. Shouts can be heard getting closer. >OPEN DRAWER There is a gold amulet in the drawer. >TAKE AMULET You take the amulet from the drawer. >WEAR AMULET You place the amulet on your right wrist. You feel a slight tingle and a slight head rush. [You have gained 3 points!] >N Mess Hall This is a long room dominated by a large table, preumably for seating the prisoners and guards on their shifts to eat. Rojanosh enters from the south. >E Armored Hallway You enter a room filled with various pieces of armor hanging from the walls. Several tapestries add color to the room. Various racks of weaponry dominate one wall. Doors lead north and south. Rojanosh enters from the west. He takes one look at the weaponry displayed and promptly arms himself with a sword. >LOOK AT TAPESTRIES Rich colored rugs, of low workmanship. It seems that the prison is rather poor off when it comes to interior decoration. The edges appear frayed and worn. >LOOK UNDER TAPESTRIES You rip one of the tapestries off the wall to reveal... An utterly blank stone wall. >SAVE [Game saved.] >LOOK RACK The wooden rack carries a set of spears, swords, and other sharp pointy things that you wouldn't want to be facing down. There are swords, spears, arrows and daggers. >TAKE DAGGER You take a dagger from the rack. >N Northern Wall: Ground Floor You stand on the lower level of the northern outer wall of the prison.
